What's cooking this week?

We use surplus food from supermarkets, bakeries and food retail outlets.  It is still good to eat!  Sometimes there may be a Best Before or Use by date.  We may receive the food with sell by ‘extensions’, or we might freeze the food.  Once the food is frozen, the sell by date goes back to zero, and can be used in the future.  So please don’t be alarmed if you see a sell by/use by date which has expired.  At Food For Families we believe in using this food, to prevent good food being wasted and ending up in landfill sites.  Please help us to become Zero Heroes
